For years now, the kitchen island has been at the proverbial, if not literal, center of the home. Part dining space, part workspace, and certainly where everyone ends up congregating during parties and holidays, the kitchen island has been a staple of the new American house. But is that wrong? The Wall Street Journal tackles the hard-hitting questions of the day in a piece called, "Why Kitchen Islands Are Ruining America’s Kitchens."
